The couple in this picture postcard mailed from Lupton on Dec 21, 1910, may be Lettie and Adam Stonestreet. The writer of the card signs herself as “Lettie,” and the 1910 Census reports a Lettie and Adam Stonestreet living on 4th Street. Adam is listed therein as an agent in “Medicines.” The Rawleigh’s trademark on the wagon refers to the W.T. Rawleigh Company, which catered to rural populations in the sale of remedies and treatments for both people and animals. Two of the buckets atop the wagon are labeled “Medicated Stock Food.”
